Yearly maintenance fee covers:

• Wide assesment for the first ship designed and built with DEFCAR if buying all modules (typical shipyard installation).
• Technical support 5 days per week, from 09:00 to 20:00 GMT.
• Software updates within a release.
• Manual updates.
• The maintenance policy will commence on date of sale and will expire at end of each calendar year. Minimum period for maintenance is 3 months. Monthly portions are calculated on a prorated basis. Minimum period maintenance coverage is required on all modules, except in rent modalities.
• The maintenance fees depend on the installation. Ask us for a budget for your needs.

 

• We can go to your office for installing programs, configuring networks, training your staff and helping in your first new building with DEFCAR system. Price: 650 US$ per day + travel and subsistence at costs.

• Minimum rent period: 3 months.
• Minimum renewal period: 3 months.
• Yearly maintenance fee included in the price.

• Purchasing a copy of ShipGen and suscribing to the maintenance you will have all the public templates for free. Defcar Ingenieros updates from time to time with new templates. You can download periodically the new ones from this website.
• If you need a template for a special type of ship not included in the public templates, you can order it to Defcar Eng. Prices for taylor-made templates can vary from 1.300 US$ to 2.000 US$, depending on the difficulty of the hullform of the desired template. Taylor-made templates can be either for the exclusive use of the purchaser or for public use, as a decision of the purchaser. If public, the price of the template will be 50% off.
