Main
characteristics:
Three-dimensional structure management. |
|
| The seams and butts that shape the shell plates are defined in a totally graphic and interactive way by defining points in the hull surface. The system takes this points to use splines (mathematical moulding-batten). Those lines can be modified at any time editing the points that define them. |
|
|
Once the plates have been expanded you can obtain offset tables for the preparation of templates for shell plates forming. The positioning of the plate to be formed can be defined by the user in a graphic an interactive way moving and rotating the plate in the screen. |
| The
structural girders such as floors, webs, bottom-girders, side stringers,
breast hooks, shell and decks longitudinal girders, lengths, etc. can also
be defined by this module.
This definition is done in two parts. In the first part, girder geometry is defined: its position and shape. In the second part the associated information is defined: thicknesses, kind and dimensions of profiles, etc. |
|
| The
definition of all these elements ( from decks to seams, butts and girders)
is always done in a graphic and interactive way, being able to be edited
and modified in any moment. As reference, you can see that this way is very
similar to AutoCAD and another CAD systems when define and edit polylines.
Once defined, you can obtain offset tables of these elements, to calculate
distances, etc.
The working of this module has been made easy to the maximum and you can see the vessel representated in its three orthograpic views (profile, plan and body) and 3D view using filters for the displaying of the different forms (hull and decks) and layers (seams, girders) and making use of the three mouse buttons, etc. All this things in a userfriendly and well known enviroment as Windows. |
